Master Kush AA

Master Kush is a cannabis strain developed from Hindu Kush and Skunk, two landrace strains from different parts of the Hindu Kush region in South-Central Asia. Developed by a Dutch company in Amsterdam, it was originally named High Rise because it was created in one of the city’s high-rise residential blocks. It has been popular since the 1990s and has won the Cannabis Cup, known as the Superbowl of pot, twice – in 1992 and 1993.

The cannabis strain’s scent and taste are sweet, pungent, and earthy with woody undertones, often described as a vintage flavor. When the plant is matured, its buds are covered in a thick layer of frosty trichomes and hairs of different shades such as red, orange, and yellow. The strain has strong indica based effects that bring full-body relaxation but minus the mind-numbing effects typical of many indica varieties.

It causes strong euphoria that can bring a blissful state of mind to users. More seasoned users of Master Kush also experience improved creativity and intellectual curiosity. Negative effects of this strain when smoked include dry eyes and mouth. Some users also report experiencing dizziness, anxiety, and paranoia especially when it is taken in higher doses or consumed as an edible.
